2016 November Newsletter

Revival Services:
On October 23-26 I had the privilege of doing the Revival Services at CBBC in Sekondi. We are preparing to build by making bricks on our church property so our theme at CBBC was on BUILDING. The sermons for the week were on: THE BUILDINGS OF NOAH. Sunday Morning we defined the word “Building”. Building in Scripture is to increase and strengthen. Revivals help strengthen the Soldier in the Army of the Lord and shore up and strengthen the Christian who lives by Biblically Sound Christian Principles. “Building” is also to cement and knit together; to settle or establish. Sunday Evening the sermon was about the 1st thing that Noah built – “Noah Built A Relationship With God”. All other buildings are vain failures and for not if one does not start 1st building in the Lord. Monday Evening I preached on “Noah Built An Ark” a Gigantic Task that the world Ridiculed but for the Christian a Safe Haven, a Shelter from the Storm, a Set Precedent in who and what one follows, trusts, and obeys. On Tuesday Evening the sermon brought was “Noah Built An Altar”. Building things that are For God, that Point to God, and that are Acceptable to God. Our last night, Wednesday, “Noah Built A Family That Was Positively Affected By God”. Let your kids see, know and be involved in your Communion with the Lord. Be as Abraham was when God said of him   in Genesis 18:19 “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.”

Accomplishments:
Each Sunday in October we collected a special offering to buy bags of cement. We had by the first Friday in November 999 bricks. Each bag of cement makes up approximately 26.5 6” bricks. Every Friday we have had a goal of making 5 Cement bags of bricks. It takes several days   for the drying process, but the Sun here in Ghana seems like a baking light in an oven. Over the Christmas break we should be able to have more laborers and more workdays. I would like to see 2,000 6” foundation blocks. I would also like to see about 4,000 5” blocks for the church building walls. Any extra 5” blocks will be for the walls around the church property. We need quite a bit from my   viewpoint but God will supply our every need in labor, building materials, finances, and wisdom! GOD IS FAITHFUL!!! As of our September newsletter we needed $126.55 for the Scripture Container we have on order. Praise the Lord! He helped us meet that need through impressing that on some ones  heart. First Freedom’s VBS kids raised $490.02 for mission expenses. That will help us with 71.67  Bags of Cement. THANK YOU KIDS FOR GIVING TO MISSIONS! Prince led two boys from my class at West Ridge School in accepting Christ as their personal Savior.
